Our vision is a world in which paralysis from spinal cord injury is curable.

Who Are We?

Get Up Stand Up To Cure Paralysis (GUSU) is a nonprofit organization in Minnesota working to unite, educate and support those dealing with Spinal Cord Injuries and to advocate for research and the restoration of function.

Social 2025

On September 26, 2025 we had another successful Social raising over $96,000 thanks to everyone's gracious donations. We are extremely humbled by everyone's generosity and thank you once again for your support.

SCI Related Information
Outside Organizational updates – 180 Medical Scholarship Program

At 180 Medical, we believe in empowering students who have overcome medical challenges to pursue their educational goals. Our annual scholarship program awards seven $1,000 scholarships to full-time college students living with conditions such as spinal cord injuries, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, or an ostomy. We also offer a caregiver scholarship for students who provide unpaid care for a loved one. Applications are accepted from January 1 to June 1 each year.
